Two Cats Left House and Cash in Will

IN a move of which most cat lovers would approve (probably), a man has left $250,000 and his house to his two cats.

The late Leon Sheppard Sr, 79, had five children, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. But it is his two cats, Jake and Frisco who are the primary beneficiaries of his will. They are now living in the up-market 4,270sq ft home in Memphis, Tennessee, and being kept in the lifestyle to which they are accustomed.

His descendants haven't been cut out of his will. They will inherit his estate when Frisco, the oldest of the two cats, dies - but only condition they continue to care for Jake.

The family have declined to comment about the will.

Sadly, no pictures seem to exist of the lucky two cats. So here's one that might amuse you!
