Police Build House For Cat

Swat Cat outside her new house.

Police in Boston, USA,  have been showing their softer side.

They had been feeding and caring for a stray cat they called Swat Cat for three years. But then Swat Cat went missing. They were relieved when three months she turned up again.

In order to give Swat Cat a place to relax when she visited the police department, they decided to build a little house for her.

Boston Police get the condo in place.

"Officer Jamie Pietroski, a 15-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, stayed late after work for several nights painstakingly preparing SWAT Cat's new home," the department’s website read.

The condo features a spacious studio interior layout, a large deck for outdoor dining and glass sliding doors offering panoramic city views.
